When the exam starts, you may feel a kind of strain. And unfortunately, you may have a butterfly in your stomach. OMG…. One of the countermove of this, for example, is mastering a solution easy to memorize and to handle. “The tree diagram” is a good sample in problems of probability. The tree diagram is easy to memorize and to remember. It is also easy to handle and very effective for solving. In a book in Japan, I saw “The tree diagram is a pinch hitter who has an 100% batting average.” I agree. It’s very convenient.

So, I advise you that you have to memorize not only smart solutions but also “primitive” solutions. The latter will help you breakthrough when you face some obstacle during solving.
